2020 Winner for San Diego's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For

Companies that excel at employee relations, use innovation to motivate employees, implement creative compensation and wellness programs tomake their workplaces, their employees and the community a healthier place to live and work will be recognized by National Association for Business Resources (NABR) at San Diego’s Best andBrightest Symposium and Awards Gala on Thursday, February 13th, 2020 at the Farmer & TheSeahorse venue.

This year’s winners practice innovative strategies and represent best practices in industries as diverse as gaming and entertainment, biotechnology, healthcare, financial services, and retail trade. (See the following list of honorees.)

An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry for the Best and Brightest Companies toWork For, based on key measures in various categories, including Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions; Employee Enrichment, Engagement and Retention; Employee Education and Development; Recruitment, Selection and Orientation; Employee Achievement and Recognition; Communication andShared Vision; Diversity and Inclusion; Work-Life Balance; Community Initiatives; and StrategicCompany Performance.

The criteria for the Best and Brightest in Wellness was created and administered by SynBella, the nation’s leading wellness provider. Categories include Benefits and Programs, Culture and Environment,Employee Input, Leadership, and Participation and Incentives: Outcomes, Analysis and Tracking.

“With the war on talent hitting the doorsteps of the Best and Brightest, this achievement means even more than it did a year ago. As we continue to raise the bar, these companies rise to the challenge through cultural innovation, maximizing their workforce potential,” said Jennifer Kluge,President and CEO, Best and Brightest Programs.

The annual symposium and awards gala will begin with a strolling breakfast, networking and exhibit gallery preview at 10:00 A.M. followed by Playology, educational presentations educational presentations and an awards celebration. The awards presentation will be emceed by local Sports Anchor, Tabitha Lipkin of Fox5 News and will begin at 12 p.m., adjourning at 2 p.m.

Winning companies also vie for the “Best of the Best Overall” elite award for Employers and forWellness. The elite award winners will be announced during the awards ceremony. San Diego’sBest and Brightest program is sponsored by BASIC, Baudville, Corp! Magazine, NOW Health Group,Kelly Services, Fox5 News and Wilson Turner Kosmo LLP.
